She is 5'4". Pop superstar Britney Spears started out with her Lolita-like ponytails and schoolgirl style in her song "Baby One More Time" and has since made record-shattering sales and iconic music videos.

From a teen sensation to a young woman, she enjoyed great successes with international number one songs and videos.

With so much talent followed by tremendous success, came a rather long rough patch in her personal life, with issues from a broken marriage, drugs, hospitalization, and the biggest loss came when she lost the physical custody of her 2 young boys.

At one point, she became more of a tabloid celebrity than singer. With the paparazzi following her every move she spent one night in a drug-rehabilitation program then flew back to Southern California where she lives, stopped at a hair salon and shaved her head in front of everyone, camera's too.

In Janurary 2008 Britney had an episode where she locked herself and one of her boys in her Los Angeles home and refused to give Kevin Federline her son. She was hospitalized in psychiatric wards so her father was granted legal guardian of her business affairs.

In the months following her situation seemed to calm down and she began her journey to reinvent herself again.
