She's best known for the starring role as a High School Cheerleader on the popular television series Heroes.

Hayden is a passionate activist with Sea Shepard where she traveled to Taiji Japan where thousands of dolphins are killed in an annual dolphin hunt each year.

She was involved in a confrontation with local Japanese fisherman while trying to bring attention to the slaughter of the dolphins.
She and a small group of protesters paddled into the ocean on surfboards to try to save a group pod of whales from slaughter.

The ocean was already bright red from the blood of the dolphins and whales that had already been slaughtered.

The Japanese fisherman used their boats propeller to separate the Hayden's group from the animals they intended to kill.

In the end Hayden adds "We all crossed our fingers that those whales didn’t die in vain."
