Lady Gaga has been influenced by Glam Rock musicians such as David Bowie and Freddie Mercury as well as Pop music stars like Madonna and Michael Jackson.
Lady Gaga has shown her love of fashion and when she writes her music she visualizes what she wants to wear on stage. Her clothing ensembles have brought performance art into the mainstream. Throughout her career Lady Gaga has contributed to many charities, most recent to the 2010 Haiti earthquake. With Cyndi Lauper she teamed up with MAC Makeup for the VIVA Glam campaign which raises money to fight AIDS.
