Petite actress Julia Duffy takes a moment to answer some questions for us.

Acclaimed actress Julia Duffy is best known for her amazing work on the iconic sitcom 'Newhart' which earned her seven (that's right, seven!) Emmy nominations for playing self obsessed maid Stephanie Vanderkellen. She has worked steadily since then on major hit shows like 'Designing Women', 'Reba' and 'Drake and Josh', but our personal favorite is her hysterical turn in the Coen Brothers comedy, 'Intolerable Cruelty.' Julia is one of the most adorable petites in Hollywood!

What’s your favorite petite brand of clothing?

I guess my favorite brand is Eileen Fisher. I don’t care for tailored clothing and her things drape so nicely. She seems to be the only designer who understands that petite women look good in styles that drape. I find way too many structured lines in other petite brands. And Talbot’s is great for pants.

Do you have a particular line of clothing that’s not necessarily “petite” that you just can’t live without?

I love Elie Tahari and occasionally splurge on him. I have a great brown velvet jacket I bought last year, though I’ve never found the perfect thing to wear with it. That always happens to me.

What’s your favorite pair of jeans?

My jeans days are behind me. I do own about 20 pairs of black pants though. And I need more… Is it just me?

If you were stranded on a deserted island would you want Abercrombie sweats or a Juicy Suit?

I’m not sure I’d care how I look on a desert island. I’d probably go for some very comfy loose pants from Eileen and tees from Banana Republic. I never wear sweats… Is there anyone else on this island? That could change my answer… I might have to pack my Spanx!

Heels or flats?

Well, I’m far more comfortable in flats, my feet were not built for high heels. But I usually tough out the heels when I want to look good. I’m just too self conscious to be short.
