American song writer and actress, Kelly Brianne Clarkson more famously known as Kelly Clarkson, is an idol for many teenagers across the globe.

Being the youngest of three siblings in a family struggling with financial troubles she turned to music to find solace. Having no formal training at the time, she got into the school choir simply because of her natural talent. Later she went on to be part of many musicals. Continuing her singing, which also got her full scholarships at The University of Texas, Austin, University of North Texas and Berkeley, she decided against college and went on to do what she loved. Her love for music landed her at the auditions and then made her the winner of the hit reality TV show, American Idol on September 4th, 2002. She later released her first album which went on to become number one in the charts. Riding on the success of her first albums double platinum sales, Kelly Clarkson released her second album “Breakaway”. The young singer then went on to win her first Grammy award for the best female vocal performance and best pop vocal album. 
In the course of her high flying career she won millions of fans world over.
